Course Description | This course introduces the major theories and discussions of social media within new media and communication, as well as other fields of social sciences, in particular political science and sociology. The issues and concepts relating to social media, such as participatory democracy, social movements, alternative identities, virtual communities, new possibilities, inequalities, and surveillance society will be discussed. |
